Lori A. Roiger, age 57, was called home to heaven on Saturday, February 29th。 She was born in Shakopee, MN, on March 29th, 1962 to JoAnn Priller and Richard Frey。
Lori met her future husband on Farm Island Lake in Aitken, MN, while their families were vacationing. She and Don were married on October 6th, 1984, and would later take their children to the Roiger family cabin at that location. As her children grew, she became well-known as an enthusiastic sportsmom and a warm and generous hostess.
Although a loyal employee of JoAnn Fabrics in Apple Valley, MN, Lori’s favorite occupations were mom and grandma. She loved her “grandma daycare” days and would share her passion for crafting, baking, and Dr. Seuss’s “The Grinch” with her grandchildren. Other hobbies included reading, sewing, scrapbooking, travelling, beating her family at cribbage,cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, and enjoying every minute spent with family and friends. She was a beautiful example of life lived to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Frey and step-father, Robert Priller。 She is survived by her loving husband Donald Roiger of Farmington, MN; children Jennifer (Jordan) Kramer of Hector, MN, Courtney (Ryan) McKasy of Green River, WY, Matt (Katie) of Medelia, MN, and Pat (Brittany) of Eagan, MN; 4 grandchildren with one more on the way; her mother, JoAnn Priller, 6 siblings, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 16200 Dodd Ln., Lakeville. Visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday, March 4 at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley and also one hour prior to service at church.
