Lyle McCulloch, age 86, of Eagan MN, died May 10, 2020 at his home with family at his side. Lyle was born September 7th, 1933 in Milbank SD, to Lester and Lucille (Kelly) McCulloch. He graduated from Milbank High School in 1951 and served 2 years in the US Army. He graduated from Brown Institute in Minneapolis studying electronics. He was united in marriage to Marianne (Jetty) on April 27, 1957. He was employed for 33 years at Univac which later became Sperry and Unisys, retiring in 1992. A big sports fan, Lyle liked to watch and listen to the Twins, Vikings, and Gophers. Having grown up on a farm, Lyle never lost his interest in working outdoors or working with his hands. He kept active and walked almost daily. He enjoyed spending time with his family and looked forward to seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lyle was known as a kind, compassionate man and will be dearly missed by friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marianne; son Brad McCulloch of Askov, MN; daughter Stacey Garlick (Ed) of Eleva, Wi; daughter Denise Reese (Kevin) of Apple Valley, MN. grandchildren Jordan, Zach (Tirzah), Kaleb, Jacob; Chelsy (Nick), Mitch; Austin, Connor; great grandchildren Jameson and Lucas. sister Gladys Folk of Milbank SD; brother Melvin McCulloch of Milbank, SD; brother Jerome McCulloch of Brooklyn Center, MN; sister-in-law Mary McCulloch of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his Parents; brother John McCulloch and sister Janice Schultz; sisters-in-law: Kathy McCulloch and Martina McCulloch; brother-in-law, Ed Folk; and nephews: Warren Folk, Steve Folk, David McCulloch, and Paul McCulloch. A private service will be held at a later date at, Mary, Mother of the Church in Burnsville. Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
