June 24, 1963 - February 29, 2020
Marcy Strese Chuchna, age 56 of Rosemount passed away February 29, 2020.Marcy was born in PA and moved to Minnesota with her family where she graduated from Apple Valley High School. After high school she met the first love of her life, Johnny. They married and had 2 kids, Amanda and Kyle. Tragically Johnny passed away in 1991, but Marcy didn’t let this stop her from living life. Her kids became her world and she began her career as a daycare provider so she could stay home and be with Amanda and Kyle for anything they needed. She put them in every sport imaginable and never missed a game, school party or field trip. Losing Johnny is what started her daycare career but years down the road it would also lead her to her second love, Randy. Some people never find a love of their life, Marcy was lucky enough to find two. Randy and Marcy married in 1999 and in 2000 they completed their family with the birth of Michael. She became the stereotypical “soccer mom”, watching Michael play and travel all over. Marcy loved many things, going to the cabin, music, dancing, Bacardi diets but most of all family. They say great moms get promoted to grandmas and this couldn’t be truer for Marcy when she became a “Gaga” to Ean, Maddie and Logan. Life will be dimmer without her in it but whenever you hear Barry Manilow, Donny Osmond or Garth Brooks playing think of her. And if you ever did anything to tease her just remember her telling you that “You need a timeout”.
